1. We will supply the apartment, fitted to Visit England 3 Star standard, to include colour TV, DVD, CD/Radio, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, iron and ironing board.
  2. Weekly bookings are from Saturday to Saturday. Short breaks can be arranged.
  3. Normally, arrival should be after 5:00 pm and departure should be by 9:00 am. If the apartment is available, we are happy to be flexible about these times. Please just ask.
  4. Provisional bookings will be accepted by telephone and email and will be held for 7 days. A deposit of 25% is required to confirm the booking.
  5. The remaining payment must be received by us no later than 4 weeks before your holiday. For late bookings payment needs to be made in full at the time of booking please.
  6. We will confirm your booking and receipt of your deposit by sending you a receipted invoice either in the post or by email.
  7. Once your booking has been confirmed a legal contract exists between us. In the event of cancellation after confirmation and deposit, you are liable to pay the balance. If you cancel we will do our best to re-book the apartment to other parties, but if we are unsuccessful you will be liable for the full cost. If we can re-let the apartment then any monies will be refunded less an administration fee of £20. Cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.
  8. If your booking cannot proceed due to Government public health restrictions you can choose to either transfer your booking to a later date, any price difference will be adjusted up or down, or obtain a refund of the amount already paid.
  9. No refund will be payable if you cut short your stay.
  10. We provide all bedding (duvets), mattress and pillow covers, tea and hand towels, basic cleaning equipment and toilet roll to start. Please bring your own bath towels and beach towels if required.
  11. The apartment is gas centrally heated and has an electric oven. The cost of heating and all electricity is included in the booking price.
  12. There is a laundry room for the use of guests and a charge is made for use of the washing machines and driers. Opening times are from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm.
  13. Guests have the use of the garden and terrace areas, hot tub and BBQ area. The hot tub is available from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm.
  14. Children are welcome. A cot and high chair are available for hire in Applegarth at £5 per week each.  Parents must accept full responsibility for their children’s behavior and children must be supervised at all times.
  15. Dogs are welcome in Applegarth and Lancelot apartments at an additional charge of £25 per pet but please bring your dogs bed and food bowls.
  16. Smoking or the use of candles or tea lights is NOT allowed in the apartments.
  17. No liability can be accepted for any loss, damage or injury to occupants or their property during the period of their stay. You are advised to take out your own insurance.
  18. We reserve the right to terminate the tenancy of the property if conduct is detrimental to other residents or property. In these circumstances, no monies would be refunded.
  19. All guests are expected to leave the apartments clean and tidy.
  20. Guests will be responsible for the contents of their apartment whilst in their possession. Any breakage, loss or damage to the apartment or premises, its fixtures and contents, must be reported immediately and paid for by the guests.
  21. Car parking is available on the premises. Please notify us as to how may cars you will be bringing if more than one car is to be parked. Guests use the parking spaces at their own risk. Merlin House Holiday Apartments cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to vehicles or property in the parking spaces.
